Phil researches, identifies, and develops projects in biofuels compliance and service programs. His work includes the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS), RIN Attests, Gasoline Sulfur Benzene Averaging Banking and Trading (ABT), Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS), and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). His work has appeared in publications including Ethanol Today and Biofuels Digest, and he has presented at conferences including the Biofuels Financial Conference, Bio-refinery Leadership Conference, and the biofuels industry’s largest: the Fuel Ethanol Workshop.

Prior to coming to Christianson, Phil worked to increase the effectiveness of individuals and organizations wanting to participate in the political process, communicate their ideas, and understand the impact of public policies on their business, organization, or family. He now works with those needing to demonstrate compliance with regulatory programs impacting the biofuels industry.
