Financial Analyst
Our Analyst will have experience building reports and modeling using intermediate skills in Excel. They will have great attention to detail to ensure that our clients have accurate information and be able to work on multiple types of projects switching easily between them when needed during the day. Our people deliver the best-in-class advice and build long-lasting relationships.
Essential Duties
- The role is centered around financial and market modeling, analysis, and consulting for our clients
- Create models, projections, and forecasts in Excel on a project-by-project basis to help our clients achieve their goals
- Work on grant applications to include mapping, environmental studies, financial statements, technical report writing, and other needed items
- Contributes to the long-term vision of business advisory services, defines best practices, and documents processes.
- Actively participate in business development and cultivating relationships to strengthen both yourself and the firm
- Work on special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications and Characteristics
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related discipline
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
- Experience creating Excel Macros
- 1+ years of experience with Excel modeling
- 1+ years of experience in financial analysis
- Be teachable and able to apply what you learned to new projects going forward
- Experience with project-based work
- Proficient technical writing skills
- Strong analytic skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and client service
- Solid organizational, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
- Display a high level of professionalism, integrity, and maturity
- Self-starter who works both independently and as part of a team to complete objectives
