November 15th at 11am CST, we will have our last webinar of the BFC-W series. This session is on Preparing for LCFS Verification Implementation.
The amendments to the LCFS regulation are finalized and will be effective January 1, 2019. In this session, we will take a look at some of the key areas that were passed in the new regulation and what you should be doing to prepare for the coming year. We’ll also discuss some valuable information about the LCFS Verifications that were added to the program as well as upcoming timelines to keep in mind. Validations will begin in 2020 and the first verification will be due August 31, 2021, are you prepared?

LCFS Amendments Update
The newly finalized amendments to the LCFS program include some major changes that will be coming into effect in the next couple of months. Join us for an overview of the finalized amendments including changes to the new GREET 3.0 model, extension of the program to 2030, and some other items you should be aware of as we enter into 2019. In addition, we’ll give a brief update on the work being performed to open the E15 market in California.
LCFS Verifications Overview
The moving pieces have finally stopped with the finalization of the amendments to the LCFS. We now have a clearer view on the verification requirements, conflict of interest and firm rotation. We will discuss how all of the pieces fell into place to form the overall picture that we now have for our LCFS verification program. In addition, we will give you some key insights into a timeline for the next year for pathway conversions to GREET 3.0, pathway validations, and engaging a verification body (auditor) for annual reporting.
