WILLMAR, Minn. (October 26.2026) — The Partners of Christianson PLLP are pleased to announce the appointment of Sara DeRoo, CPA, as Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2027.
Joel Gratz, CPA, who has served as CEO since 2021, will transition from the firm’s top leadership role to further his focus on serving clients and supporting industry growth initiatives as a leader within the agribusiness industry.
“As Christianson continues to grow, the CEO leadership role will require a full-time focus on strategy and operations, while our industry leaders devote increased attention to client service and business development. I am grateful for the opportunity to focus on my work advising and supporting farmers, producers, and agribusiness leaders. I have complete confidence in Sara’s ability to lead Christianson into the future,” said Gratz.
DeRoo added, “I am honored by the trust placed in me by the Partner Board and excited to serve as Christianson’s next CEO. Our firm has a strong foundation, outstanding employees, and tremendous opportunities ahead. I look forward to working alongside our partners and team members as we continue to grow.”
