The partners at Christianson CPAs and Consultants are excited to announce some well-deserved promotions of some of our Christianson rock stars.
Michelle Larson has been promoted to Supervisor! Michelle started with Christianson in 2015 as the first full-time accounting services dedicated employee. She quickly showed her ability and leadership in managing both projects and client relationships. She proactively handled problems before they became issues, completed every task asked of her, and communicated vital information throughout the firm. Her desire for learning pushed her to seek out more challenging projects and she quickly became the go-to person for accounting projects. We are excited to see her step into the supervisory role and utilize her knowledge and skillset to grow and expand Christianson’s accounting services department.
Brian Orsten has been promoted to Senior Accountant! Brian started as a Staff Accountant with Christianson in January of 2020 where he quickly became a valuable asset to the firm helping with biofuels and renewable energy compliance work and financial statement audits. Brian is a quick learner and has a knack for being able to jump right into a project and run with it. We are happy to see him step into his new Senior role and continue to lead more of the compliance and audit engagements as he gains experience and grows his career within the firm.
Shane Ewy has been promoted to Compliance Supervisor! Shane first interned with Christianson back in 2014, and we were excited to welcome him back to Christianson full time in February 2018 as a financial statement auditor with a biofuels and renewable energy compliance focus. Shane has a wonderful passion and talent for audit and compliance work and has excelled during his time here in the Renewable Fuel Standard and Low Carbon Fuel Standard programs. We are very excited to see him step into this supervisory role and to begin managing some of our new services!
Jonathan Skindelien has been promoted to Senior Accountant! Jonathan started as an intern with Christianson in 2019 and throughout his tenure, he has provided services for almost every department in the firm, from tax to accounting to audit to compliance and more. Jonathan has proven his value to the firm by being a team player and is always willing to pick up a project whenever it is asked of him. Jonathan is always ready to answer questions, train staff members, and help share our firm’s culture. We are excited to see him continue to grow with the firm!
The Partners want to congratulate Michelle, Brian, Shane, and Jonathan and wish them continued success!
